Thatcheria mirabilis (2nds)

This is the ‘Japanese Wonder Shell’ from deep waters off the Chinese, Taiwan and Japan coast. A collector’s favourite.

These shells rarely come perfect and most will display some natural scars, growth lines and occasional deep water algae marks on the inside of the white lip.

The photo with 4 shells shows some of the flaws that occur.

Colour and shape never varies and each shell will have a ‘good’ side – so you will not be disappointed with your specimen !
